Writing Portfolio #1
G’day Class! Welcome to our new site!
The first thing we are going to do is: to display all of our writing from Week 6 (Expository piece #1, Persuasive Piece #1, and Imaginative Piece #1).
Remember to add specific categories to your HW assignments (eg. “Yr 11 Writing”). By the end of next year, you will have MANY posts; categories will help you sift through them, as they will automatically be time-stamped and saved in your “archive” file.
TASK: Post #1: Expository piece #1: topic: write an exposition of any element of social change.
Post #2: Persuasive piece #1: topic: what would you like to change in “the world” (that includes “your world”!) and how you are going to achieve this change.
Post #3: Imaginative Writing Piece #1: Topic: “You were very pleased to have the opportunity to interview a well-known actor or singer who recently performed at your school. Write an article on the interview to be published in the school newspaper.”
